I'm looking for a mattress that will get NO body impressions.
My husband is 6' 3" and weighs 250 lbs. I'm 5' 8" and weigh 180 lbs.
Every mattress we've had develops body impressions.
"Body Impressions" is what the salespeople call it. I call it sagging.
What's the best mattress to buy that won't sag?
All upholstered products eventually sag under the weight of most people.
The bigger you are, the faster and deeper those sags will occur.
It's the nature of the beast.
The higher the density of the upholstery materials, the slower they will develop.
The lighter the body weight, the less of a problem it becomes.
That being said, the best way for people your sizes to avoid sagging, while still being able to enjoy a comfortable mattress, comes in two parts.
1) Start off with a firm mattress.
2) Soften that mattress with a separate mattress topper.
The best mattress topper is all natural latex. (Best being, most comfortable and longest lasting).
These high quality mattress topper will absorb your body weight, leaving the mattress in like new condition for many, many years. The latex toppers, themselves, last a good 5 years, or so, under your weights.
When the time comes, simply replace the topper.
The firmest, strongest mattress is the Natura of Canada Greenspring in Firm...shown here:
The Uno Smart adjustable base created by Magniflex is a product of German engineering that has been designed to provide our customers with the highest level of well-being with several benefits to ensure satisfied customers.
Both are supportive and comfortable. The Tulah has a softer surface feel.
The Adara has the better specification and is more durable.
You don’t need a new foundation.
UPS shipping is free and there’s no sales tax.
We recommend using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
Keeping the upholstery materials clean and dry will extend the life of the mattress.
