The best way...the optimum way to maintain a mattress, is to rotate it once a month for the first year.
After that, once a season, or every 3 months, for as long as you own it.
This is important when people are heavy and especially so when there is a large difference in size between those using it.
This rotation of the mattress will cause the mattress to wear much more evenly, which greatly extends the comfort life of the mattress.
If you have children, discourage them from jumping up and down on it.
Always use a waterproof mattress protector, which will prevent moisture from perspiration, from seeping into the mattress and damaging the upholstery layers.
All of these steps will maximize the use of any mattress...and maximize the value of the dollars you spent.
We recommend using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
Keeping the upholstery materials clean and dry will extend the life of the mattress.
