100% All-Natural Vytex Dunlop Latex Mattress Toppers. Ever-Eden’s Vytex Dunlop is, virtually, Allergen Free. And while the Vytex Dunlop comes in the same 2 choices of comfort levels, Dunlop is a more dense material and does not have as supple a feel as the Talalay Latex Toppers.
Latex is the best upholstery material...most comfortable and longest lasting. Now, those allergic to latex don't have to settle for less.
I can send you a sample of this Vytex Dunlop, so you can see that there's nothing to worry about, before you buy it.
I have fibromyalgia and cervical spinal disc disease.
My husband and I need a new mattress that will be comfortable for us both.
We're heavy people, both weighing over 250 lbs.
I am allergic to latex and I have noticed that it is recommended for my illness. We live in Southern California.
Would love to know what you recommend.
You have been in business along time.
And from what I have noticed from the testimonials, you know what you are talking about and do not steer people in the wrong direction whether they buy from you or not.
I would like to get a good bed that will last and has a warranty, but also fits our budget and can be delivered to us with minimal amount for shipping. Thank you for your time. Look forward to hearing from you,
Let's start with your latex allergy. If your allergy is typical...a skin reaction to latex gloves and bandages, then you have nothing to worry about.
Latex foam is processed in such a way, as to remove the allergen that is naturally present in the sap from the rubber tree.
All latex foam is hypoallergenic. And, there is the Vytex process, that make it virtually allergen free.
Latex is thee best upholstery material on the planet.
It's extremely comfortable, making it ideal for reliving the pain from Fibromyalgia.
And, latex is far more resilient than anything else, making it ideal for long term use under heavy people.
The mattress needs to be supportive enough to hold the weight, and pliable enough to not fight the fibro.
For that reason, we'll start off with the Simmons Beautyrest Black Desiree in Luxury Firm.
Hi Pete, Thank you very much for your response....and your recommendations for seeing a chiropractor and for the Wolf Latex Hybrid Adrian mattress.
I have been seeing my chiropractor since I twisted my sacrum. He has been phenomenal in my recovery process and is the person who suggested a new mattress. Unfortunately, I am allergic to latex and would not be able to sleep on a latex mattress. Is there a different mattress you could suggest? Thanks again! Sarah
Hi Sarah, Latex foam is not the same as latex bandages and gloves. When latex is processed into a foam, nearly all of the allergen is removed, making it hypo-allergenic. Also, a latex allergy is topical...meaning that it has to come in contact with the skin, in order for you to react to it...as you would with gloves and bandages. It is not, at all, an airborne allergy. The latex in the mattress is under a cotton cover, and the mattress is dressed with linens. You never come in contact with the latex. Latex is and has been thee best upholstery material available for the last 100 years...most comfortable and most durable. You have nothing to worry about.
