My New Simmons Beautyrest Mattress is Too Firm.

I purchased a new Simmons Beautyrest Mattress, and it is too firm. 

I would like to purchase a Latex topper, Which would be best. 

Between my husband and I the total weight would be 450 lbs. 

I have both lower back and hip pain so you can imagine my discomfort on this firm mattress.
