Hi Pete,
Can you help me find a mattress that will not let us sink in?
My wife and I are having a difficult time finding a mattress that doesn't become painful.
I'm average in size and my wife is petite.
Despite our sizes, the last 3 mattresses have sunken in within a matter of months.
We need a mattress that will give us support and be comfortable, and not sink in.
Thanks, Debbie
Hi Debbie,
It will be helpful to you to know why your last 3 mattresses allow you to sink in.
Almost all of today's mattresses are upholstered with memory foam.
And while advertising and salesman's hype would have you believe that memory foam is good, it isn't.
In fact, it's the worst upholstery material ever invented.
It's the only upholstery material that is temperature sensitive.
As such, it softens as it warms from your body heat, allowing you to sink into it.
THAT, and the short life, reflecting your body's heat to you and the off gassing of the toxic chemicals from which memory foam is made, makes it the absolute worst thing you can buy.
Avoid any mattress that's upholstered with memory foam.
The Natura of Canada Greenspring Mattress in Ultra Plush.
The individually pocketed coils maintain the natural alignment of your spine.
The upholstery is Natural, Hypoallergenic Talalay Latex, which does not allow you to sink.
This mattress contains NO Memory Foam.
This is the mattress that my wife & I have been sleeping on for many years.
