The “helpful” thing was my mom’s way of being. She derived a lot of joy from that and it rubbed off on me.

My English grammar is due, in part, to an unrelenting High School English Comp Teacher.

In 2004, another retired English Teacher wrote, chastising me for my more earthy way of writing...pointing out that I was running a business and should be more professional in the way I expressed myself.
Her point was well taken and I was easily able to fall back on what I learned in high school English Comp.
