Replacing a Stearns and Foster one-sided mattress.

Hi Pete,

We are replacing a Stearns and Foster one-sided mattress that we got from you in 2011 is now showing a hump in the middle and taking too many rotations to find a comfortable supportive position to sleep on.

We prefer ultra firm for back support....what do you recommend?  

Not sure I prefer 1 sided mattresses after seeing how the S&F wore, but open to it.

We also need a spare room queen and full for two bedrooms we are trying to furnish.

We would like something reasonable that is middle of the road for firmness and comfort.

We would need, I suppose, the Magniflex 8" foundation with legs.

We are looking for a finished look, with a header and footer.

Do you have any recommendations for that?

Welcome Back!

You sound disappointed by that 12 year old S&F.

It did exceed the manufacturer’s 10 year warranty.

Most of today’s mattresses won’t give you half that life.

 

“Ultra Firm” sounds pretty firm.

The firmest we have does exceed the specifications of your S&F.

If you mean headboard and footboard, when you say “header & footer”, those would come with their own framing.
