Hi Pete,
I am looking to buy a new mattress but don't know where to start.
I just need a good bed that will hold up for a good while I have a not so great back due to my line work.
I have looked at a company called global mattress they are smaller company but seem to be ok beds.
I guess my question is what your opinion would be for these beds and or if you have any other suggestions.
Regards, Joe
Hi Joe,
It’ll be important for you to avoid any mattress upholstered with memory foam.
Memory foam is specifically designed to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing.
It sleeps hot and off gasses the toxic chemicals from which memory foam is made.
Memory foam is the worst upholstery material ever invented.
The Global Mattress website offers no specifications for their mattresses.
You’d be buying something without knowing what is inside…a pig in a poke.
The mattress I’m recommending is the same mattress my wife and I have at home.
It’s now more than several years old and still in like new condition, with each of us weighing more than 200 lbs.
I, too, have a very bad back. Yet, this mattress allows me to sleep and wake without back pain.
The Natura of Canada Greenspring Ultra Plush Mattress is my recommendation.

The individually pocketed coils maintain the natural alignment of the spine.
The Natural Talalay Latex upholstery provides long lasting comfort.
This mattress contains NO Memory Foam and no components imported from China.
Delivery is FREE and there’s NO Sales Tax.
Thanks, Pete
VERY IMPORTANT:
Keeping your mattress clean and dry will increase its longevity.
We recommend our Organic Cotton Waterproof Mattress Protector.
