Our 10 Year Old Pillowtop is Causing Our Back Pain.

Hi Pete,

I've learned so much from reading your blog. 

I am trying to convince my husband to splurge on a new mattress and latex topper.

Can you please make a recommendation for us?

 

We are in our early forties and I am fairly certain our 10-year old pillowtop is causing our back pain. 

I have a bulging disc in my lower back and my husband has pain in his mid thoracic region. 

He is 5'8" and 155 lbs and I am 5'4" and 115 lbs. 

We both like to exercise which means we often come to bed with tired and sore muscles. 

The softer the better, for me! Also we are both side sleepers. 

I think an all latex mattress sounds wonderful but will need a more affordable alternative.
