Hi Pete,
The Talalay Latex Topper you provided gave us another 5+ years of great comfort on our (turned-over) Sealy Reflexion Manhattan Beach latex mattress.
But the mattress has developed soft spots where our hips land, and is no longer comfortable.
So now, it's really time for a new mattress, and I've been looking on your site.
We're interested in an all latex mattress that provides the support and comfort of this Sealy with the topper.
My Consumer Reports arrived today, and gave top marks to the Sleep on Latex Pure Green Firm mattress, which is all-Dunlop-latex and $795. Are you familiar with the brand?
I would appreciate your perspective on all of this, and a recommendation.
Thanks, Richard
Hi Richard,
I am familiar with that brand, using Latex made in China.
The Chinese add fillers, like clay, that reduce the quality, longevity and price.
Since clay is a natural product, it’s sold as all natural latex.
I’m also familiar with all the bad advice about mattresses, coming CR.
I suggest the Natura of Canada Bourdolay Plush Natural Talalay Latex Mattress.
The inch of plant based poly foam is in the quilt. (You can’t quilt latex).

Take a great night’s rest for granted with the Bourdolay Plush Mattress. Luxurious and pillowy, the soft, targeted support latex core and healthy layers of plant-based foam create delicious cushioning and invite deeper, more restorative rest.
