A Mattress to Relieve the Pain of Fibromyalgia.

I have fibromyalgia, which has worsened over the years.

I find it painful to even lie in bed, which use to be comfortable.

There's nothing wrong with this older mattress, per se. It's just not soft enough.

Hi Jill,

You're better off softening what you have, over buying a new mattress.

Most of today's mattresses are upholstered with memory foam.

Contrary to all the sales hype, memory foam will cause your pain to increase and not relieve it.

It would be better for you to add high quality padding to what you have.
