My son loves his old two sided Sealy Posturepedic Plush Mattress, which was discontinued a long time ago.
He grew up on that mattress and we took good care of it. We flipped it regularly and kept it clean.
Now that he's moving into his own apartment, he'd like to get a queen and we'll keep this old full size for our guestroom. What is an equivalent mattress, especially in terms of the quality & firmness, sold today?
Wow! That mattress is very old.
Sealy changed from two sided to one sided in 2003.
Ten years later, Sealy was purchased by Tempurpedic. Today, everything they make is upholstered with memory foam.
Memory foam is used, specifically, to keep a mattress from lasting too long. The one you have, has no memory foam in it.
There is no equivalent to what you have. But, you can come close to it.
We carry a two sided mattress that uses the same type of upholstery material that is in your mattress.
The Brolynn Plush Two Sided Mattress will satisfy your son...giving him a very similar night's sleep at those he's been used to.
