Hello,
I am an emergency nurse and work twelve hour shifts, mostly on my feet.
I have recently begun to feel lower back pain and am not sleeping through the night anymore.
I toss and turn in the early hours of morning trying to find a position of comfort.
I think I need a new mattress.
I have narrowed it down to a Simmons based on your recommendations but am confused by all of the choices.
I am currently sleeping on a Serta Perfect Sleeper that I purchased about three years ago.
I have always liked a more firmer mattress, but desire something with softness on top too.
I am 5'5" and 140 lbs.
I didn't put a lot of thought into buying this mattress. And, I went cheap.
Thanks in advance, Renee
Hi Renee,
Well, let's not make that same mistake, this time around.
Your job puts a lot of strain on your back muscles.
As it is now, you aren't getting good support or the muscle relaxation that you need to recover from the previous day's work.
The mattress I recommend for you, is the EverEden Pure, All Natural Latex...specifically, their 8" model.
At your size, I recommend the core in medium and the top in soft.
This mattress is ideal for muscle strain. You'll sleep deeply and you'll feel like new and ready to go...each and every morning.
These mattresses last for decades...so while not cheap to buy, they are cheaper to use over the many years you'll have it.
Here is the link to that mattress:
Delivery is free and there's no sales tax.
Thanks, Pete
