Hi Andrea,
The problem is the memory foam in that Tempurpedic mattress.
The promote that junk, as if it were the best thing since sliced bread.
It is, in fact, the worst upholstery material ever invented.
It’s temperature sensitive, meaning that it softens as it warms from your body heat.
Once softened, your body sinks into it.
It will sink furthest, wherever you’re heaviest...usually around the hips and waste.
THIS, is what is throwing off the alignment of your spine, which is causing the sciatica pain.
The material that IS the best, has always been pure, all natural latex.
You have to be careful here, as well.
Lots of online latex is made in China, where they use clay as filler, which cheapens it.
As a result, it doesn’t wear well.
Pure latex, on the other hand, wears extremely well...lasting for decades.

It’s probably too firm for comfort, but your sciatica pain should subside.

I suggest using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
Keeping your mattress clean and dry will greatly extend the life and loft of the upholstery materials inside. Ours sleep cool and make NO Noise.
