Hi Pete,
I am interested in a Pure Talalay Latex Bliss Nature model latex mattress and would like to use a metal platform bed.
The bed I have is a fifteen year old, (I think manufactured in the Netherlands) and consists of a headboard, footboard and 2 platform sections (30" X 80"). The four outside corners of the platform sections have metal "teeth" that insert into the legs of the headboard and footboard.
The center bars of the two platform sections are held together by the top brackets of two metal support pedestals.
There are two metal cross bars and a metal mesh that (along with the two center bars) form the platform.
The two outside bars are raised about three-quarters of an inch and form an outside border to the platform.
Will the use of this bed affect the warranty or longevity of the latex mattress?
The two retailers in my area offer conflicting advice.
Thanks, Mark
Hi Mark,
The bed sounds really well made....and will not affect the the warranty, longevity or the performance of that mattress...which is also, very well made.
Here is a link to that mattress:
