Hi Pete,

Several years ago, we purchased our master bedroom mattress from you and have been very happy with it.

Now, we need mattresses for our children...a couple of twin size and a couple of full size.

One of the twins is for a trundle bed, so I will have to measure to be sure of the size.

We would like these mattresses to be supportive, comfortable and inexpensive.

And we want to be sure that they are safe. We don't want to expose our children to the chemical off gassing of memory foam.

For the trundle, the critical measurement will be the height of the mattress.

For the trundle there will be only so much vertical space available.

 We carry a number of products that are safe...no memory foam and no off gassing of the toxic chemicals from which memory foam is made.

The first mattresses we spoke about are all natural...coil, all natural latex upholstery, a little wool as a natural fire retardant, and an all natural cotton cover.

There are two types in this line of Wolf mattresses. The Adara uses a pocketed coil and the Adrian uses a Bonnell, interlocking coil unit.

The Adara is better for girls and the Adrian is better for boys. The pocketed coil of the Adara model will contour to the shape of the body, which gives better at the hip.

This becomes important for girls who are maturing. Females are more shapely and the hip is their major pressure point...which this mattress addresses.

My granddaughter has the Adara.

The Adrian uses a coil unit that isn't as flexible...stronger, which holds up better to boys who grow larger and are usually rougher with their things.

And, since boys are built in a straight line...the pocketed coil isn't necessary.

These are my favorite mattresses for children. The all natural latex is more comfortable than any other type of upholstery.

At a bit lower price point, are the two-sided mattresses from Wolf.

These use the same Bonnel interlocking coil unit of the Adrian Latex Hybrid.

The upholstery is Polyurethane foam, which is also perfectly safe for children...not as durable and not as comfortable as all natural latex.

But, they are well made, long lasting and a bit less expensive. I would suggest the Brooklyn Plush model for all, as it is the most comfortable of the 3 models.
