After reading some of your viewers comments it’s no wonder that my pillow top mattress is the cause of my hip pain.
I am at this time in search of a new mattress and am doing some research.
At present I suffer from congenital spinal stenosis, osteoarthritis, and I have had a bulging disc as well as a herniated disc and have rotator cuff tendentious in both shoulders.

Hi Laura,
The biggest culprits, today, that rob people of their good night's sleep and the money they've spent, are pillowtops and memory foam.
Avoid them, both.
While so many people follow the hype of memory foam, and later regret it, they could have purchased latex foam.
Since it's introduction, 20 years ago, memory foam has proven itself to be the absolute worst upholstery material ever invented.
Conversely, latex foam rubber is and has been thee very best upholstery material...over the last 100 years.
These two products are at the opposite ends of the spectrum, in terms of comfort, quality and performance.
Latex is natural, while memory foam consists of 61 different chemicals...some of which are toxic...like Formaldehyde & Benzene, just to name a couple.
Memory foam off gasses the toxic chemicals from which it's made...creating a health hazard...adding injury to insult, to its lousy performance.
Back problems, like yours, require the push back support of an innerspring mattress.
Upholster that mattress in latex, instead of memory foam, and you have a high quality product that will provide excellent support and comfort for many years.

On this mattress, we sleep well, wake rested and without pain.
Latex is much more substantial feeling than other foams, so this comfort description of "Ultra Plush" is a bit inaccurate.
Your external issues may require an additional layer if the mattress isn't soft enough for you.
I wouldn't suggest buying a topper until after you get the mattress and it's determined to be needed.
If you do need more softness, then the Ever-Eden 2" Soft Talalay Latex topper is what to get.
