A New Mattress Recommendation for Side Sleepers.

Hi Pete,

I am 6' 2" 190 lbs. My wife is 6' 165 lbs. We are both primarily side sleepers. 

Our current spring mattress is shot and we are both having back pain on waking. 

I sometimes have shoulder stiffness in the morning.
We are looking for a new mattress recommendation between $2k and $3k in queen size. 

Is there an all-latex mattress you would recommend, or would it be better to buy an innerspring firm mattress with a 2" or 3" latex topper?? 

I can't fit a full height queen box spring up my stairs, so I was looking at the steel foundation as an option.

We were very happy with the mattress you recommended for our daughter, a year or so ago.

If your back pain is from your worn mattress, either of these will work fine and for a very long time.
If your back pain is due to disc problems...Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD), Herniated Discs., or Bulging Discs., then an all latex mattress may not work as well as an innerspring with latex.
There are lots of brands with innerspring units that have no latex in them, that will require a separate latex topper.
