Simmons ComforPedic Mattress Sleeps Hot. Latex Topper to Sleep Cool.

Hi Pete. 
I have a hot sleeper/cold sleeper problem. We purchased a Simmons ComforPedic mattress about a year ago. 
Recently my husband has been sleeping on the couch and just told me he wakes up sweating at night - but I am more comfortable on this bed than any other. 
We have a waterproof mattress protector. A merino wool mattress topper and cotton sheets. 
The mattress was $2,500 so I don't want to replace it if possible. Do you think a latex topper would help my husband sleep cooler?

Hi Mary,
The Simmons Comforpedic uses memory foam, a temperature sensitive material that sleeps hot. The gel they use with it, is hyped as sleeping cool.
As you've seen, that gimmick doesn't work for very long.
Latex sleeps cool, naturally. It provides a barrier between you and the memory foam.
In short, you bet it will help.
