Hello,
We live in Canada. What is your opinion on the Sleep Tek latex mattress (8")?
I am looking at this and also a more traditional Beautyrest (probably a Black model).
This is for myself (63 yrs - 5'5", 160 lbs. and my husband - 66yrs - 6', 235 lbs. - both of us are side/stomach sleepers - no major health complaints).
I looked at Sleep Tek mattresses in a local store. They look nice but price is about CA$4500. A Beautyrest would be less.
We have always had coil spring mattresses so latex is new to us. Will the latex be better than a coilspring? I note that you and your wife sleep on a
coil spring with topper.
We have had 2 mattresses (Kingsdown, Beautyrest) in the last 11 years and neither has been satisfactory.
As noted on your website they seem to last, at most 2 years.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thank you, Barb
Hi Barb,
There is no comparison between what Sleep Tek has to offer and the Simmons Beautyrest.
They are made completely differently.
I like what Sleep Tek has to offer, using latex instead of the poly and memory foams used in the Beautyrests.
However, we can offer you an even better option.
One of our suppliers is Natura, based in Toronto.
They offer an innerspring unit that is topped with latex...and is the similar coil unit used in the Simmons Beautyrest.

They also offer several all latex models.

You'll find these to be much more reasonably priced, with free delivery and no sales tax...delivered everywhere in Canada.
