I bought a Simmons Comforpedic mattress almost 2 years ago. The last few months my back and hip pain is terrible. Been going to chiro. I did research and found that memory mattresses can break down over time. I am so disappointed in this mattress. Before that I had a pillow top. Same issue with hips. Both were great at first. My question is can I use a latex topper on this mattress to try out the topper? I would fully intend to get rid of the Comforpedic if the latex topper works.
Thank you for any help.
Listening to the salespeople at stores, you'd think that memory foam was the best thing since sliced bread. The only thing it's good for, is making the sale.
For the consumer, it's the worst thing ever invented.
Buy a 2" or 3" soft talalay latex topper, flip your mattress over and put the topper on it.
Then, you will experience the difference between the best that's ever been, and the junk they sell in stores. You'll be amazed at the comfort and the lack of pain.
