I recently (Nov-2013) purchased an S&F queen plush pillowtop bed and
within the first few months the body impressions were very noticeable. Of
course the manufacturer didn't find them to be enough to replace it, so
I am looking to pay to swap out my bed for a "better" one. The bed that
I have been looking at is the S&F Scarborough Luxury Firm or the
Cushion Firm Pillow top. With the current mattress, I have been
experiencing back pain due to the impression; do you think one of these
beds would be better for sleep comfort? Thanks. Rene
While the luxury firm models are firmer than the plush models, this does not save you from repeating your misfortune. The memory foam in these mattresses will create the same problem you are facing now...6 months to a year later.
Let me save you from all of that. We have a two sided mattress provides better support, better surface comfort and will last about 10 years...and not 10 months.
This old fashion mattress has zero memory foam and consists of high density materials that will keep their shape for many years. It has been field tested under heavy body weight for the past 5 years and remains like new in look and feel. Made by Therapedic, it's the Keepsake Cameo Plush model, shown here:
