We were in great need of two new mattresses-one king size for us, one queen guest bed. Our plan was to try out the ones you suggest, the S&F Core Ingrid Luxury Firm from Macy’s-same line as the Heidi that you recommend , and the Simmons Beautyrest Adamsville Plush Firm Euro Top for the guest room adding your latex topper for both. We can find no dealer for Simmons here locally and needed a bed quickly due to holiday company and my dad staying here following surgery. So we purchased a queen Sleep Design, Eclipse Eurotop 50-7C1M ($950) said to have individual coils like the Simmons and we put a fairly good foam pad on top. It is very hard without a topper. We have purchased mattresses from this local dealer (Snow’s) in the past and they have provided very good service and honored a return and exchange. So far, it seems fairly comfortable and, of course, much better than the sagging mattress it replaced. What is your opinion on this?
We still need a king bed for us however. Macy’s carries some S&F but not the Ingrid or anything except plush tops. I am 5’5” 130 lbs with Rheumatoid arthritis and scoliosis which is becoming more painful; husband is 5’11” 210 lbs, no major issues other than snoring when he is on his back so sleeps mostly on his side and gets some soreness in that hip. We have a 10 year old Sealy posturpedic that has really never been comfortable even though we have replaced foam toppers several times. The husband is leery of buying a bed he can’t see and lie on first but we are limited in what we can find here in Tulsa, OK. I am leaning toward taking your advice and just ordering from you due to your excellent website and reviews.
Thank you, Julie
