Tempurpedic mattress causing shoulder and hip pain

We have an 8 year old Tempurpedic mattress that has begun to sag and break down and causing pain at the hips and shoulders. I am thinking about a latex topper instead of a whole new bed.
Your thoughts?

Hi Jim,
Besides the latex topper, I'd suggest flipping your mattress over. The underside is likely to be in better shape and so, a better base support for the latex topper.
