Hi,
I bought a Beautyrest a few months ago and now its turning into a massive black hole. No support and with the design of the sides being extra firm, I'm constantly being forced back into the black hole. Long story short, the mattress store I bought the black hole from has a one year exchange program. Before this mattress I had one of the best mattresses in the world. I had a Sealy Posturpedic from the 1980's (firm) that was double sided. Sadly, it died the slow death after 25 years and it started hurting my back (but less than the Beautyrest after 7 months). lol
I am now looking at the Sealy Posturpedic at the store and they have 2012 model (Allendale-firm and plush) and one 2011 model (Irresistable).
The Irresistible has extra padding in the middle, better coils and has better quality than the Allendale and more expensive.
My question, individual coils or coils that or connected to a grid? Which is better for your back and for the life of the mattress?
More coils or better quality coils? My Beautyrest had more coils than the Posturpedic that I'm currently going to by and it was a black hole?
Also, the 2011 Posturpedic has less coils (560) than the 2012 model (667). I like a firm mattress and like the idea of a topper if you want it plush.
All wisdom would greatly be appreciated. My back and wallet depend on it!!!!!!!
Thanks, David
Thanks, Pete
