We bought a comfort-pedic bed about 45 days ago and we are returning the bed and will pick a new bed. The bed is comfortable and provides good pressure
relief, although i have developed back pain every day after sleeping in the bed....and, it sleeps hot. Do you think it is because it has no coils? If we get
the NXG 400 bed will that not cause back pain. I have tested the NXG 400 in the stores, although I don't know if I will develop back pain after sleeping in
it. Any thoughts? What are good beds that provide good pressure relief and no back pain? Most beds I feel pressue on my sides when I sleep. Thanks.
Hi Edward.
I think your problem is the memory foam. There are many different types of foam and of them all, memory foam is the worst. I would have you try a latex mattress before you pull the trigger. It's very comfy and doesn't sleep hot.
The NxG is a very nice line...although we are not huge fans of pillowtops. Because they aren't sewn tightly to the sides, when you lay on them the pillowtops
pull in on themselves. It doesn't make them the best buy. See if you can find the NxG 250 plush. You want just enough cushion to be comfortable, without
going overboard.
Thanks, Pete
