Hi, My husband and I are looking at the Sealy Spring Free Beachside and one called Gracewood Vale which is a bit firmer. No one seems to list the Gracewood Vale so it is hard to make comparisons. Is there a model that is in between in firmness? I have also seen a Comfort Series Tranquil Sea model but am questioning its quality and structure compared to the Spring Free models. Finally, is the low profile box spring as good as the higher model? What are the differences? Your comments would be most helpful. Thank you. Liz
Hi Liz,
Our Crystal Vale is the same as the Gracewood Vale. There's nothing beween the Beachside and that, in feel.
The Tranquil Seal is NOT a latex mattress. It has only a small amount of latex. It's almost all poly foam.
Both height boxsprings are equal in quality. It's a matter of conveience of height.

It used to be a very good value. It's long been discontinued.
It isn't as good as an all natural, all latex mattress.
The Gracewood Vale is made of synthetic latex and topped with polyurethane foam.
If you're buying one today, it's used, or a factory return....defective.
Thanks, Pete

Hi Pete,
I want to purchase a medium to firm all latex mattress and found a great price on the Sealy Posturepedic Gracewood Vale. Is this a good quality mattress compared to other all latex mattresses? I can't find any reviews.

Ok, I am not sure how to start my own thread so here is my question to you Pete. My husband and I have had the worst luck with mattresses. First we had a restonic ultra plush and it started indenting really bad, so after some complaining we received a new mattress I believe it was just a plush and that one did the same thing, my husband would be up 5-10 times a night. So I was so fed up I contacted the company and they sent us a third mattress and just like the others it was terrible. So I decided to move it to the spare room and spend some money after hours and hours of research I was convienced that the Sealy Springfree Latex was for us, I ordered the Meadowcrest. It is so uncomfortable, now I wake up with terrible back and shoulder pain. Can I not find a quality mattress even after spending close to $2000. I saw on one of your other threads that maybe someone should put plywood over their boxspring, we have split box spring could this possibly be our problem? We have to order a replacement mattress and I want something soft. I am leaning towards the Sealy Posturepedic Signature Luxury Plush Series. Please help, this is my last choice and I can;t afford another mattress.

I have completed a warranty claim and need a mattress like the Pike Cushion Firm from 2008 - lower end of the Signature series but with a mattress that is not nearly as tall. What can you suggest?
