I'm looking for a proper replacement for a Sealy mattress which was found defective. It was an Azure Water Posture Premier. I was looking for the equivalent as a substitute, but after reading many of the letters on this site, I wonder if that is the proper move, as it is a plush pillowtop. What are your suggestions? I'd rather not add money to the mix, but if there is no other choice but to have more problems a year from now, I will do so. Thanks so much for your help. You provide a wonderful service. (Next time, I'm coming to you!)
Hi Ella. The Posture Premier is Sealy's low end. There is a huge difference in specs between that and a Posturepedic. Normally, if you were going to buy a Posture Premier, you wouldn't spend the money for one of those pillowtop models. At that point you might as well be getting a lower level Posturepedic. It should cost you only a little more to do that now, but it's well worth it. A Posture Premier is something you would buy for a guest room or a child's room. If this is your bed, you shouldn't be getting anything less than the Sealy Posturpedic Reserve Series level 7.
