My husband and I recently purchased the Sealy True Form Crystal Sea. We have had it 8 days and are waking up sore and miserable. My neck and lower back hurts and his lower back hurts-we can barely get out of bed! We can exchange it, but not sure where to go from here. I am primarily a stomach sleeper and am using the posteurpedic pillow. On the crystal sea I feel my stomach sink and my back arch. My husband is primarily a side sleeper and prefers a soft mattress. We used to have a big, soft pillow top and had no problems with it, just needed a King size. They sell S&F and Sealy. Thanks for any advice. PS-I posted this once alread, but never saw it, so posting again.
Hi Paula. Memory foam, be it Sealy or Tempurpedic, is a love it or hate it kind of thing. And judging from the quantity of complaints, the odds of you being unhappy great enough to make it something to avoid altogether. Since you were happy with what you had, a Posturepedic is your logical choice. A plush model without a pillowtop is your better choice for it keeping its shape long term.
