S&F, Stearns & Foster Bond St.

Hi Peter, we've been looking around for a new king sized mattress and have it narrowed down two S&F models.  One is the Boulevard Collection Bond Street Cushion Firm and the other is the Plaza Manhattan.  I can get either for the same price.  Which one would be the better mattress and what is the difference?  Thank you.

Hi Kris, The Bond St. is an old name...not a current model. The Manhattan name is used currently, but was also a name from the older line. Stores selling new mattresses, would not be apt to have any of the older models left to sell. I'm guessing you're looking at salvage pieces. When mattresses are returned to the factory because they are damaged or defective, they are loaded on a trailer and sold for pennies on the dollar to store dealing in that kind of product. As a consumer, you could end up with either a great deal or be totally ripped off. They come with no warranty. It's a gamble. I have no way of knowing if either one is good.
