A comfortable mattress for a platform bed

I just purchased a low platform bed from desiron, the ludlow bed.  I am looking for ideas on a comfortable mattress for it.  I have had bad back pain from time to time.  Are there any mattresses ( quenn size ) you would suggest?

Hi Charlie, The latex mattresses are a great choice for comfort. The starting models hold up as well as the more expensive ones do and are thinner, which seems to be a better fit for most platform beds. The best in latex is the Sealy SpringFree. The 11.5" Beachside model is the most popular and very comfy.
