My wife and I are in our late 50's, with chronic lower back problems and see the Reisling seems to be a good fit for us. We are in the Northeast Georgia Mountains and can't find a Reisling or comparable mattress to it. We did find a Flat Iron in Atlanta @ Bloomingdales but it was $3,000+. Also today we found a Plaza line in a nearby city and they had the Manhattan Reserve that we seemed to like. They also had a Terrace Room Dreams. Are we anyplace close to the Reisling with either of these? If not, can you give us any suggestions to get something comparable to a Reisling? We would really like to try our mattress out before we bought. Thanks for you help and keep up the great work on your website. Sincerely, George
Hi George, The Manhattan Reserve is a level 6 cushion firm, same as my Abbeville. It's firmer than the Reisling and has the foam injcted edge support that starts at level 6. The Reisling is a level 4. The Flat Iron cushion firm is the same as the Reisling, but the Flat Iron also comes in an ultra plush version. The Terrace Dreams is a level 3 plush pillowtop and is a bit softer than the Reisling. There must be lots of mattress stores in Atlanta. Log onto www.stearnsandfoster.com and enter an Atlanta zipcode into the store locator. It'll show all the S&F dealers in the Atlanta area. You can call around to see who has it. There are several other model names that it goes by, but all will be the "level 4 cushion firm pillowtop".
