Hi Peter: I sent you a question a few months back regarding a mattress that I bought for my 1.5 year old daughter that was too soft. You wrote back that I was buying mattresses that were too expensive, but unfortunately that was all I could find in Miami where we live (I had checked Macy's and Mattress Giant and actually purchased 2 expensive models from Macy's that we returned as they were like marshmellow puffs). I became so frustrated by the whole process that I just gave up. At any rate, here I am again. I really need a bed for her, so today, I went to Rooms to Go. The salesperson encouraged me to buy the Simmons Beautyrest Faraway Dreams mattress. Is this a quality mattress? The store also carries a Sealy Kids to College model. Is that equivalent to the Sealy level 3 mattress that you recommend for kids? I don't want to make a mistake. I look forward to your response. Thank you very much.
Hi Annie, The answer is still the same. That Sealy bed is all you need. The coils in the Beautyrest are not tempered and don't keep their shape very well.
