Hi, I need your help. I am considering 2 mattresses so far. At first, my choice was the Tempur Pedic, however after reading your educated answers you seemed to highly recommend the Sealy SpringFree latex. If you were to choose from any of either two, which one would it be and what would be your reasons? And if the recommendation would be the Sealy memory foam product, instead of the Tempur-Pedic (the so called Nasa developed BEST memory foam material)why would I do it, since they both have similar price tags? THANK YOU so much for your help.
Hello Ramon, Foam mattresses contour to your body, maintaining the natural alignment of your spine. The greatly reduce pressure points and provide for a deeper, more restorative sleep. This is true for both. Memory foam is heat sensitive and slow to recover. It doesn't breathe, which makes it feel warmer than other foam. Latex is rubber. It's much more durable, cooler and much more responsive when you move. The final decision will come down to personal preference, but most people prefer the latex. In either case, Sealy has the best value out there. You'll find the Sealy TrueForm to be less expensive than Tempurpedic. It's no surprise, given all the advertising they do, which you'll pay for. And while you really can't downplay NASA engineering, you have to put it into perspective...keeping in mind that they engineer stuff to be used in Zero gravity.
Moisture from perspiration seeps into the upholstery materials of a mattress and causes premature wear. Protect your investment with a high quality, Organic Waterproof Mattress Protector that sleeps cool.
