Hi Pete, I went to try the Kameryn today at Macy's and really liked
it. I also tried the plush version of this and liked it even better.
Can you give me your thoughts on this (it is not pillow top just
softer) - do you think it will break down too fast? Also, tried the
Stearns and Foster Villa La Rosa Cushion Firm. It was very
comfortable. I tried it to get some idea of how a latex topper might
feel, but ended up liking it. Do you have something similar? Finally,
taking into account that I am returning a tempurpedic cloud mattress
that has given me backaches, do you think I would be fine with either
the Kameryn Plush or the S&F Villa La Rosa (or your equivalent). These
are both a little more comfortable to me than the Kameryn firm. I
really appreciate your help.
Finding more comfortable mattresses is easy. Finding comfortable beds that will hold up is not.
The Kameryn plush, our Ansleigh plush, uses a thinner gauge wire for a greater depth of softness. This extra initial comfort will be lost as soon as that thinner wire gives out.
The La Rosa is the same as our Village View Villa, shown here:
If you check the specs, it has 4.5" of soft poly foam on the top, which again, is initially more comfortable and far less durable than the Kameryn/Ansleigh plush/firm.
The choice is ultimately yours, but know that you will be trading durability for the more comfortable feel...and in only several months, no longer have the comfort it had when it was new.
