We recently purchased a California King-Summerlyn ultra plush by Serta and had to return it because it sagged at both sides and had a big lump in the
middle. I am looking to replace it with the Sealy Posturepedic Hayden Plush. I chose not to get a pillowtop again b/c of the sagging but am unsure if the
Loring Park is a good mattress. Tami
The Sealy coil system is a whole lot stronger than the unit Serta uses. However, the problem of a body impression on each side with a hump in the middle
won't be avoided with the Sealy either. The first problem is the size. The Cal King is wide enough to allow you to sleep farther apart...and with no one
sleeping in the middle, the center stays like new...creating the "hump". The standard king is is a little wider, but not quite as long. Being almost square,
you can rotate it 1/4 trun. This allows for more even wear and a longer comfort life. Also, there are twin boxsprings that meet in the middle. Their stronger
edges make for a firmer center.
You're better off staying with the plush if you are average weight. If heavier than average, the firm model and a latex topper will serve you better.
Our equivalent is the Grass Leaf...Level E. Here is the link to that mattress.
