Hi Pete
How does one find out where or how a Sears-O-Pedic matress Is made, in Canada. I am having problems with Sears starting with what I believe to be fairytails by a sales clerk. Does Sears have the Sears brand mattressess made on a per order basis. I strongly believe this is hog wash and that they are sitting in a warehouse some place.
Thanks, Lisa
Hi Lisa,
Sears-O-Pedics are currently made by Serta...here in the US. They had been made by Sealy, not long ago.
You can look on the back label to see who is making them in Canada.
Ordering a mattresss from the factory to fill an order is something we do all the time. Since it only takes a week or so to have an order filled, it doesn't make sense to us to keep mattresses in stock. Better to have one freshly made than one that's been lying around in a warehouse for who knows how long.
I would have no way of knowing if your Sears store has stock, or not, on any given mattress.
Many stores do keep stock, offering immediate delivery.
Thanks, Pete

After sifting through all the mass media advertising hype and all the pitches you hear during many sales presentations,
check with the Better Business Bureau and/or your state's Attorney General's office about any retailer you're considering.
What you'll find from them and what you'll sense on your own is that we, at The Mattress Expert , are among the most trusted retailers in the business.
We don't advertise that. You’re doing that for us...and we thank you.
