I really appreciate your site. The mattress industry is so confusing. I am 340 6'3" and I am split between a latex mattress and memory foam. Tempur-pedic says their memory foam will hold up for my weight. Do you have experence with the Tempur-pedic and what is your opinion. I like the stearns and foster latex mattress'. I think my favorite in the latex is the Spring Free. Any input will be appreciated. Thank You!
Hi Greg. There's no question that the memory foam will not hold up to your weight and that latex will do a better job of that than anything else you can buy. The Sealy And S&F latex lines are pretty much the same. They each use a different cover, which changes the feel slightly. At your weight, I'd suggest the Weybridge, which is the firm model. Add a softer latex topper to that, if you want a softer surface feel. That combo will hold up much better than starting off with a softer mattress.
