Waking Up With a Sore Back on my mattress
Getting pain with my Tempurpedic mattress

Hip & Shoulder Pain on Waterbed mattress

Hi.. Your blog is great.. not sure how to write to it. I too have
terrible hip and shoulder pain (been sleeping on left side for 30 years)
and lower back pain.. Have had a water bed all this time. How do I know
where to go from here? What is difference between latex and memory foam?
What about one of these on "top" of waterbed (hard side)? Also have new
low back pain in a.m. Please help. Thanks so VERY much... There are too
many choices.. Oh, can you get a latex allergy from a latex bed? Thanks
again.

You might want to have your shoulder and hip checked for arthritis. A cool
waterbed will draw the heat from your body. Insulating yourself with a topper
is helpful. A latex topper is best. Latex is far more resilient than memory foam.
It breathes better, supports better, and for most is much more comfortable.
Most of the natural latex mattresses have had the allergens removed. Synthetic
latex, like the Sealy Springfree models, never had the allergens to begin with.
They are all hypo-allergenic. You'll find pricing for these on our website,
